stratasfan Posted March 28, 2018 Share #1 Posted March 28, 2018 Hi! I saw these just now in a FS post about a jacket, and now have a question! If I wanted to get one or both of these collar discs (except, I'd like a "C" Engineer disc, instead of "B") . . . are they something you can find? Also, what would you expect the price range to be for each one? I didn't know they did individual collar discs like this! Thanks for any help! dan_the_hun84 Posted March 28, 2018 Share #2 Posted March 28, 2018 I would think the Engineer side would be way easier since it could have been used by any Engineer unit with a "B" company hence likely to have more around- the other being far more specific would be more difficult and $. I am not an expert on WW1 disks but I would bet the Engineer one I would bet be in the $25-50 range
12thengr Posted March 28, 2018 Share #3 Posted March 28, 2018 The 310 will be harder to find but if you just use 'collar disc' in the e-bay search, pages of WWI discs show up. Including engineers.
atb Posted March 29, 2018 Share #4 Posted March 29, 2018 Go to the Bay State Militaria website. They have some US disks with unit numbers for $30.00 and Engineer disks with company letters are $20.00.
trenchbuff Posted March 29, 2018 Share #5 Posted March 29, 2018 310th engineers was a North Russian Group so the US 310 disk usually is in demand by the NR collectors.
rustbucket Posted April 3, 2018 Share #6 Posted April 3, 2018 I bought a US 310 disk at SOS two years ago and had to pay $70 for it, but no longer own it. If you are just looking for any numbered disks you can find quite an assortment on ebay, just be wary of any seller that has tons of them for $9.99!
