iron bender Posted March 24, 2018 Share #1 Posted March 24, 2018 Does the LBC look WW2 era correct, and is the camo Patch King or WW2 GI?
Patchcollector Posted March 24, 2018 Share #2 Posted March 24, 2018 Camo is Patch King as seen by the "netted" backing
tredhed2 Posted March 24, 2018 Share #3 Posted March 24, 2018 Camo is PK due to stabilizer and full embr of chameleon on felt. LBC appears to have synthetic return threads; you might put it under a black light. It really is not made quite right, either; the letters are not uniform, too many loose cables, and the OG medium looks like it was cut on the bias. They were only locally approved and locally made, not worn very long, so the vast majority of what is found were made for collectors.
iron bender Posted March 24, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted March 24, 2018 Thanks guys. I know when one starts dealing with obscure units, odds rise that your patch is a collector copy. I kinda figured that with these two. Price was right so no harm.
