boxerdogi Posted March 22, 2018 Share #1 Posted March 22, 2018 I was hoping someone here might be able to identify what aircraft or seat this may go to. The tag looks to be dated 1951. Many thanks.

mohawkALSE Posted March 22, 2018 Share #3 Posted March 22, 2018 Very interesting connector. Looks Navy by the comm jack but I think even the USAF used the U-61 back in the 50s too. The upper section of the lower connection also appears to have a G-Suit connector as well. That 4 port jack cable on the hose part is interesting. boxerdogi Posted March 22, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted March 22, 2018 I was thinking Navy at first as well, then I noticed the mic insert is turned parallel on the "U-61". I was thinking the other odd plug may have been for a heated suit.....interesting.

phantomfixer Posted April 2, 2018 Share #7 Posted April 2, 2018 Looks like the same outlet design for the electric heat flight suit control box..so thinking it is a way to heat the umbilical.. Pic is from the 303rd BG web site
