Here is something I purchased many years ago when a collector was downsizing his Flak Vest collection. It is a US made M-69 style vest made for the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces. It is a Size SMALL VN and it is tiny! You can see the DSA number indicates a 1970 contract.

Very nice! Interesting it does not say M69 even though it has the velcro closer and was made in 1970+

Correct, Velcro closing. I had my 8 year old daughter put this on once and it fit her fine.
I've never seen another vest this small.
