Here's Steves's handiwork on my Gramp's old Ka-Bar..it was "theater modified" with a hammer handle and aluminum guard and pommel at Ford Motor Company in the 70's LOL..but lookin' proper now! Tall thin font USMC version.

Good Job! -Curious, when it was taken apart, did anybody notice was the tang actually threaded and screwed to the pommel? Or was it just forced on then peened as some claim that was how they actually were done?

Art, it was broken, so we'll never know on this one..my grandfather brazed a piece of threaded rod to the tang when he fixed it back then.
