condor Posted March 11, 2018 Share #1 Posted March 11, 2018 This is a pin for a 180 foot buoy tender. It is 2 1/8 inches wide. Beautifully made but has no marks on it. I was told this is an unofficial badge for the crews on buoy tenders that saw service in Vietnam. I talked to someone that was on a buoy tender in Vietnam and he never saw a pin like this. I have had it for 26 years and the person I got it from had it for many years. Any help in identifying what it was made for would be greatly appreciated.
