I am trying to figure out what the insignia is on the bottom of the collar disc and also what the insignia is below the “A” on the hat? GIl Sanow Posted February 23, 2018 Share #4 Posted February 23, 2018 This is the 1909 pattern coat note the stand/fall collar and provision for a second collar disc. Since he only wears one, I would date this as about 1910-11. The Montana peak hat would date it later too. Typically NG units did not get the newest issue uniforms.
