Retired Army Noncom Posted February 22, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 22, 2018 Picked up three boxes of 30-40 US Army issue Krag ammo, put up a shelf and here they are. One box is not displayed, old box, civvie-skivvie boxful of spent cartridges. The other two boxes are (1) US Army issue, full box of 20 ea for Model 1889 Krag ball ammo made by Western Cartridge Company in East Alton, Illinois that I have drove by many times.. The other box (2) is dated Jan 17th 1905 issued M-1898 blanks, box seal is still intact.

No, none are. Most are from the stand-fall collar years with a couple around 1916, all cavalry.
gunbarrel Posted March 24, 2018 Share #5 Posted March 24, 2018 Great display! Cut-down rifle, or real carbine? Just curious; not that would detract from the display.
