WWII Gunner Wings - Is this a Norsid pattern?

I need some wing expertise.

This wing looks similar to a Norsid pattern.

Does anyone know the maker or style of this badge?

Also, does the pin and locking device appear to be original?

Thanks for any advise!

Rick

It is very similar, but I am not sure it is actually a NORSID wing. There is a variation of this wing with the US Seal applied to an observer wing. Your wing seems perfect, I just don't know who actually made them.

Here are some examples of what I believe to be the NORSID wing.

There is actually another NORSID marked pattern that is more traditional, like the AMICO pattern.

This is a hallmarked NORSID wing in the AMICO pattern.

So, in summary, there are probably at least two NORSID patterns. I think I have or have seen the other pattern also hallmarked. And I think that there are some jump wings that are also hallmarked NORSID.

While not EXACTLY identical, your wing is very similar to the GEMSCO pattern.

The aircrew wing pictured at the top looks to have the exact deco wing pattern

The Norsid wings seem to have a more distinct squared off shoulder.
