kanemono Posted February 19, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 19, 2018 Here is a Luger P08 captured by Corporal Augustus C. Laning Jr., Battery F of the 109th Field Artillery, 28th Division. Laning was severely wounded by shell fire at Apremont on October 4, 1918. The pistol was made by DWM and is dated 1915. At some point in its life the Luger was converted to .22. Everything matches, even the magazine, except for the toggle assembly.

Brian Dentino Posted February 20, 2018 Share #4 Posted February 20, 2018 I have your Luger's twin.....except mine doesn't come with a story so I can't show it here. Mine is still in 9mm caliber and is a very nice shooter after all these years! Great piece......
