A truly unique 17th AB/82nd AB Ike Jacket - Signal Corps T-4

I had this for quite a while and since my focus has changed over the years, it's been almost forgotten in my collection but it truly is a very unusual group

--consisting of two wool shirts and the Ike jacket--

it's sort of unique because it has the pinback glider badge, 17th Airborne and the 82nd Airborne patches, as well as the only Dutch Orange Lanyard I have ever owned --

but what makes it so unique is that the owner is buried in Arlington national Cemetery--not for his accomplishments, but for his wife's--She was a US Navy LT CDR who served in WW2 and the Korean War--

BILL THE PATCH

Yes indeed, when Ike's are fully dressed out like that ,they truly are a work of art.

Thanks for all the kind compliments---what I really wonder is "Where is her uniform?" imagine having a two war USN female officer's uniform to pair up with this great ike jacket....what a display that would make...
