sundance Posted February 16, 2018 Share #4 Posted February 16, 2018 Very nice. It took me a long time to run into one. It was similar to the 350 round AP box you have there. I had to make a top.

silverplate Posted February 16, 2018 Share #8 Posted February 16, 2018 That is a great collection. I love the crates with the colored stripes.
Taber10 Posted February 16, 2018 Share #9 Posted February 16, 2018 Great grouping, thanks for posting. Shows the "diagonal" stripe for .50 vs the horizontal/vertical stripes for .30 cal. Shows the transition from the colored stripes to the Ammunition Identification Code--the five digit alpha-numeric code. Also shows nailed sides vs the interlocking "dove-tailed' sides. KRIS FORD Posted February 21, 2018 Share #10 Posted February 21, 2018 Straight interlocking sides like that make a finger joint. To be a true dovetail, it must have semi triangular interlock tabs and slots..Nailed side ones have lap joints on the side and a butt joint on the bottom. (sorry, my Hull Tech past is dorking out on me LOL )
