Markings on jungle pack just discovered in 1945 book...

Was passing on the book "Displaying New Guinea to the Philippines" to a new, young WW2 historian, when I decided to look through it one last time. I found this interesting photo of markings on what appears to be a jungle pack - may help someone in the future, I hope.

Wow- that's pretty cool; One-Piece Jungle Suits and all!

 

It is my guess that "N.I.C.A." marked stuff would be very difficult to dig up...could be that there is a stash of it somewhere over there in the Islands..?
