Hessian Posted February 13, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 13, 2018 I recently picked up USMC Columbia Accolade for wounds in action. The interesting thing is that the Marine never served in France, only Haiti and was wounded fighting bandits. Has anyone else seen a Columbia accolade to someone wounded outside of the AEF? warguy Posted February 13, 2018 Share #2 Posted February 13, 2018 I have never heard of that before. Sounds really interesting Duke.

MWalsh Posted February 13, 2018 Share #4 Posted February 13, 2018 I had one once, to a guy struck by lightening and killed while serving in Cuba, but have never seen one from wounds in Haiti. Pretty unique for sure.
Hessian Posted February 13, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted February 13, 2018 Thanks gents. I'll post some pics and his name. I was initially stumped because he wasn't showing up in the 4th Brigade roster but ancestry finally gave some clues. I was shocked to say the least. I wouod have to think tere can't have been too many non-AEF Columbia Accolades...?
