USMC WW1 Wound accolade...for Haiti?

I recently picked up USMC Columbia Accolade for wounds in action. The interesting thing is that the Marine never served in France, only Haiti and was wounded fighting bandits.

Has anyone else seen a Columbia accolade to someone wounded outside of the AEF?

Thanks

Thanks gents. I'll post some pics and his name. I was initially stumped because he wasn't showing up in the 4th Brigade roster but ancestry finally gave some clues. I was shocked to say the least. I wouod have to think tere can't have been too many non-AEF Columbia Accolades...?
