Help with information relative to Navy Captain V. P. Wagner

I recently placed a Navy Mess Dress uniform belonging to Capt. V. P. Wagner on display in my Navy Room. I have absolutely no idea how to conduct a search for his information. Is there anyone who might be able to help? My thanks go to you if that is possible. Jack

Jack - these didn't really change in style from the time they were reintroduced after WW2 to the present time. A shot of the tailor's label would help narrow down when he served. Thanks!

For what it's worth, the cuff braid looks synthetic so it could be anyplace from 1960s to now. I did a quick search but did not see any potential matches, but like Dave said, the label will narrow things down considerably.
