Airborne-Hunter Posted February 8, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 8, 2018 A friend of mine has this and several of us have been debating as to what it could be. One person says 88th aero and another says 66th field artillery (trading post p. 57/58 J-M 1974). But it doesn't exactly match either. Any thoughts? Ivydiv Posted February 9, 2018 Share #4 Posted February 9, 2018 Just a thought, but I had a CBI grouping that had the 436th Bomb Squadron patch that had the Cowboy on a Bucking Horse. They were called "The Outlaws" or "The Cowboys" or something like that. Anyhow it was 436th Bomb Squadron, 7th Bomb Group, 10th AAF. If you look up the patch you will see it is very similar. Tankpatches Posted February 9, 2018 Share #5 Posted February 9, 2018 Your pin is for the 148th Field Artillery ASMIC # 148A1 vol 2, pg 22 has a EHOPB + European horizontal pin back made in the 20's when the 148th was on occupation duty
