Japanese internment camp notice?

Hey everyone. An acquaintance of mine gave me this recently and in trying to do some research on it I've come up empty. From what I can gather this is the remains of a notice for the relocation of Japanese Americans during the war (any thoughts?). In trying to find other examples out there for the most part all I could find were some vintage pictures of notices but none being sold or traded online. I did come across an article from a few years back about items from one of the camps being pulled from an auction and donated to a museum instead of being sold. Are these taboo among the collecting world like concentration camp items?

This looks like on of the Northern California versions, usually printed in the San Francisco area.

These do pop up on the market occasionally. Maybe 20 years ago a small horde of these were found in SF Bay area and you would see them at shows.

The internment camps, sad chapter that they were, were not brutal concentration camps as the term is generally used to refer to those run by the Nazis, Fascist Italians, Japanese and other brutal regimes.

So this is not a taboo item, but just evidence of the unfortunate thinking of the wartime period towards a minority of our citizens. As Bob pointed out, these do sell and help to complete the picture of the time period.

Thanks that puts my mind at ease for a bit. As I said I hadn't found any currently on the market so I thought maybe it would be somewhat taboo but I'm glad that it isn't.
