Fritz Posted January 28, 2018 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2018 Well the collecting gods smiled on me yesterday, even though a seller screwed me on another item he had, anyhow, I was very fortunate to at least get this at a local show, super rare and I've been looking for one for sometime, ya just do not find these USMC marked pouches everyday and this is only the second or third I've seen pop up at a show outta the woodwork. Made my day Fritz

GWS Posted January 28, 2018 Share #5 Posted January 28, 2018 I'm not at all familiar with the USMC McKeever box, just the Army version. What ammunition was it designed to hold? Dates of manufacture? Thanks.
GWS Posted January 28, 2018 Share #6 Posted January 28, 2018 Please disregard the previous post---I forgot I had recently bought a copy of Equipping the Corps by Alec Tulkoff and when I remembered it, found the requested information all there. Great find and excellent condition!

Big Al Posted February 1, 2018 Share #13 Posted February 1, 2018 What ammunition was it designed to hold? It was designed to hold clipped cartridges for the 6mm Lee Straight-Pull M1895 rifle.
