Has anyone else seen the new movie 12 Strong?  I enjoyed it very much.  The film tells the story of Task Force Dagger in Afghanistan directly after 9/11.

I'm going to see it later this week.  I read the book awhile back which was published in 2009 so the advertisement I remember seeing which spoke of what sounded like just release classified material is actually 9 years old.

Just saw this movie a few weeks ago.  I normally don't care for presentations that show SF guys in beards but one of my Boy Scouts joined SF right after the Towers fell and he gave me a lot of first hand information on how they had to attempt to "blend in".  An ROTC classmate told me of having to go to the local chief or Head Man and negotiate livestock for supper for his team!

A lot of Hollywood action but a great flick!
