Hello All,

This is a display that I am putting together in my home office. So far I have an original silk Escape and Evasion Map of the zones of France (which is similar to what the US Paratroopers would have carried into combat, a picture of the Market Garden jump with an original signature from "Wild Bill" Guarnere, a piece of artwork I picked up from the Currahee Museum a few years ago, and my favorite picture of Gen Eisenhower speaking to Soldiers of the 502nd PIR (my old BN was 2-502 so I love the historical connections). Much more to come!

Thad

Tangent - Now about 1/3rd the way through Stephen Ambrose's "The Victors" book, a lot of which is about US PIR and other airborne units of that period and location.

Thanks for the comments gents.

Kyle - I wish I had the $$$ to even afford thinking about that lol

Bluehawk - I just finished band of brothers for the 3rd time. I have also read extensively on other members of the 101st in WW2 and their stories never cease to amaze me. They dont make them like that anymore
