John Conway Posted January 15, 2018 Share #2 Posted January 15, 2018 Miniature wings were certainly worn on caps (lots of photographic evidence) but I don't believe it was ever an authorized application for one. I've always considered them sweetheart pieces, even if worn on a service man's cap. Unlike miniature Navy wings which were apparently authorized for wear on caps by naval aviators at one time?
