Can anyone ID this Confederate Veteran's Reunion Medal?

Sorry for not so great scans.

The medal is on the lapel of my great, great grandfather on my grandmother's side of the family. The photo was taken sometime between 1900 and 1917 on the front steps of the Gadsden, Alabama Court House. The group is the Emma Sansom Camp of the United Confederate Veterans. He was a cavalryman of Georgia's Cobb Legion. For those that are interested Emma Sansom was considered a local Gadsden heroine. She is known for guiding General Nathaniel Forrest and his Cavalry across the swollen waters of Black Creek there in Gadsden. My personnal interest is that Emma married Christopher Johnson, a Confederate Veteran. Johnson was the brother of my great, great grandmother, Elizabeth, on my Dad's side of the family.

By the way I counted about ten or eleven Southern Cross of Honors in the photo.
