Just guessing but a lot of vets said they and the VC could smell cigarettes from a long ways away.

Thanks for showing this. I have several of these at my folks place and always was curious about the contents. Beef Hash was the worst LRP meal IMO.

Roger..maybe they were deleted for LRRP. I swear I've seen Marlboro and Newport in VN era rats..

My gramps told me that they had WW2 dated rats in Korea when he was in the Navy (LCVP cox)..and the cigarettes were yellow and very hard to smoke, but they smoked them anyways!
