Hello,

I recently came across a large collection (about 237 total) of slides from a soldier's estate. I know nothing about the soldier's service, except that he appears to have served at a helicopter base(s) in Vietnam ca. 1970.  I'm hoping that someone might recognize the countryside and the type of helicopter, so I can possibly learn about his unit and location. I'll have to post additional photos separately because the file size is too large. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder if the symbol on this building might help.  Maybe someone will recognize it.  It almost looks like a diving bird or maybe a bat.
