Good day!  

 

I've had these in a box for a while after finding them a while back at a military surplus store.  They were inexpensive and looked old, so I took a chance.  They are rubberized canvas material with snaps and a waist tie.  There are a couple markings as shown.  I cannot find it in any of my reference books on WWI or WWII--perhaps it isn't even military.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a pair too.  Was logging on to post mine as well to learn something about them as well.  I have had mine for a number of years and finally have room to place them on display.  Mine have a tag inside.

Very similar construction but for the pockets.  Thank you for sharing yours!
