Combined Forces Command Korea SSI worn by GEN Brooks Tango Security tab and Brassard (black rectangle) WRC (Warrior Readiness Center) Cadre and Medical NCO - Brassard (2 ID) Anyone has any of these for sale or trade let me know. vzemke Posted December 17, 2017 Share #3 Posted December 17, 2017 Interesting to note that the CFC patch worn by GEN Brooks is really more of a ROK patch in color and construction, that's why it looks so dark on is OCP uniform. There are only a handful of US Army personnel who wear that patch, as most who work at that HQ wear the USFK patch. I doubt there is a US made version. I have a full color version of the CFC patch that I recently picked up in Korea, didn't think to bring back a subdued one as I don't usually collect subdued unless it's from Iraq or Afghanistan. In retrospect that logic seems faulty and I'll be on the lookout next time I'm in a Korea. Also, I thought WRC was Warrior Reception Center, but I might be mistaken. vzemke Posted December 17, 2017 Share #4 Posted December 17, 2017 Here is the full color Combined Forces Command (CFC) patch. South Korean made and purchased at Yongsan Army Garrison, Seoul in 2017. CFC, USFK, and UN CMD are all kinda the same thing in practice, as they share a common commander and much of the staff is the same on the U.S. side. Note: there is no US Army uniform that I know of where this full color version would be worn.
PATCHRAT Posted December 17, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted December 17, 2017 Vance, Appreciate the additional info. In reference to the WRC I'm not 100% sure on the ID but here is were the ID came from http://www.2id.korea.army.mil/about/hhb/wrc.asp also try the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pg/Warrior-Readiness-Company-155122071308253/photos/?ref=page_internal I can see either being used in practice. I have a woven style CFC patch which is also Korean made for ROK Troops purchased from the ROK insignia shop in Seoul back in '
PATCHRAT Posted December 17, 2017 Author Share #6 Posted December 17, 2017 One more shot of the WRC brassard with a Combined Division tab. The Combined Division tab is TIOH authorized but only worn above the 2 ID patch in Korea
