Flashlarue Posted December 13, 2017 Share #1 Posted December 13, 2017 I have had this patch for quite some time but failed to realize its significance. The patch came from an old patch collection from Missouri. The collector had labeled each patch as to unit and who he obtained the patch from. The label for this patch simply says Airborne Command Pvt. Robert Lorance. Today I started to research Pvt. Lorance and found some interesting information. PFC Robert Wade Lorance was a member of the 501st PIR Co. G killed in Holland 12 October 1944. I don't know if that makes this patch worth any more but it does make it more interesting to me.
