There is currently an exhibit at the Palm Springs Air Museum put on by Tom Horvitz and me showcasing about 50 original WWII insignia artworks, mostly done by Disney. There are also items showing how the insignias were used - patches, Christmas Cards, Jewelry, posters, etc... if you get a chance, stop by the museum and let them know what you think of the exhibit. The exhibit is up until April 15, 2018. The museum is great with many vintage airplanes that can still fly. Last weekend when I was there, they had a Japanese Zero plane being chased by a P-40. The Palm Springs Airport is beside the museum so the planes just pull out of the museum onto the runway so you get a great view when they takeoff. I will post some of the items on display. The museum has lots of other permanent exhibits too and CNN named it one of the 14 best Air Museums in the world.
