USAF Career Loadmaster Grouping

Hi Folks: I recently picked up some items for a career USAF loadmaster who served from 1950-76 served in Korea and Vietnam. The group consisted of many patches, certificates for hours in C-130 and C-141 aircraft. Two cased Air Medals which are named. One patch which is really cool is the "BLUE ICE" for "PROJECT BLUE ICE" which began on 19 Jun 1966 when two (2) C-130D aircraft from the 17th Troop Carrier Sqd airlifted 12 scientists and technicians w/supplies to the site that the 1953 British North Greenland Expedition established in the north central part of the Greenland Ice Cap. The airlift was completed on 24 Jun 1966. During that timeframe many 17th TCS/TAS flew missions to resupply the site. In token appreciation, the expedition members presented the flight crews with special distinctive "BLUE ICE" patches. The certificates were for 1,000 and 2,000 hours on C-130 aircraft and the others were 1,000 and 2,000 hours on C-141. Many of the patches are squadron and wing patches and his leather flight jacket patches. There were wings there but the were just too expensive. I found the certificates in the bottom of some boxes. There were also 5,000 and 10,000 hr patches...and two small 5,000 & 10,000 hr Military Airlift Command (MAC) pins...one (1) with a rube (?) red stone

Well...I'm still investigating and playing with the National Archives search files and my abilities. I found these for this Loadmaster ...but I can't find the 4th OLC...I'm thinking....the data hasn't been loaded yet...since it was later that he was maybe awarded the 4th OLC later
