Early 1900s Army infantry soldier photo find at flea market

I believe the collar brass says A Company 2nd Infantry Regiment.  Since the photograph was taken at Colorado Springs I checked the Internet and the only time the 2nd Inf Regt was in Colorado was in 1900 at Fort Logan.
