UNK US patch & flash

Hello, I need help about 2 unknown US ARMY items : 1st is a flash & 2nd a patch ( maybe from WW2 or early post ).

Insignia on the right is a pocket patch for the US Army 145th Aviation Battalion. It is the unit's Distinctive Unit Insignia. It is not WW2 or early post-WW2 since the unit only came into existence in 1963.

And, the design was approved in 1967.

Thank you very much for the information. I thought a WW2 made patch because of manufacture : no merrowed & flat.

Non-merrowed and flat edge SSI's made and issued until around 1968. I was issued non-merrowed edge Eighth US Army SSI in Korea in 1983. When I was stationed at Camp Darby, Italy in 1974, the SETAF SSI's were non-merrowed.
