McDermut99 Posted November 26, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2017 Picked this out of a tray of misc. insignia the other day. From what I have read Beverly Craft went out of business during the war, and produced mostly Air Corps wings but also produced other insignia including officer ranks. Due to the size of the bar I believe it to be USN, but there seems to have been some discussion about previous officer ranks made by Beverly being either navy or army due to the presence or lack thereof beveled edges. My example does not have beveling on all its edges which further leads me to believe it is navy. Any further information about this piece would be greatly appreciated. David Minton Posted July 29, 2019 Share #3 Posted July 29, 2019 Navy overseas cap insignia IMHO Out of curiosity, how would this be differentiated from a collar insignia?
KurtA Posted July 29, 2019 Share #4 Posted July 29, 2019 Out of curiosity, how would this be differentiated from a collar insignia? Would not be. Collar and cap rank insignia are the same size.
