Fritz Posted November 25, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 25, 2017 Wasn't a bad day today , was able to ferret this one out at a gun show, from what I've found so far is it belonged to a Harry G. Whittick but haven't find anything more yet. Pretty nice blade with a lot of its original blue left on the blade, always liked the Western knives. sactroop Posted November 25, 2017 Share #4 Posted November 25, 2017 Well I'm not particularly talented when it comes to research, but there's many on this forum who are. So I figured to post as much as I ran across. Wish I had a nickel for every time I got to a probable name or even a certain name and haven't found the direction to precede forward. Yes a very enviable piece.
siege1863 Posted November 25, 2017 Share #5 Posted November 25, 2017 His obit, on Newspapers.com states he fought in Germany and was awarded two Bronze Stars. These could be campaign stars rather than the BSM. Family often confuses the two.
