These were given to me by my friend Dennis Morrison. He served with the 82nd Airborne Division in Vietnam.

Dennis died in 2013 and we miss him surely.

Dennis pointing at his jacket. This was taken in 2009 at an American Legion. He helped me set up displays there several times.

Dennis is the son of Captain Thomas W Morrison of the 3rd armored division.

Here is a link to a topic for his dad

Cool uniforms. I notice the Air Defense Artillery branch insignia on the Class A coat. Was Mr. Morrison in an ADA unit while in Vietnam? I’m surprised they would have ADA units there. Interesting.

From 1957 to 1968 this was the Artillery branch insignia. Wasnt ADA specific till 1968.

Now was Morrison at Fort Bragg or with the 3rd Brigade in Vietnam, cause elmts of 82nd Abn DIVARTY as far as I can see did not serve in the 3rd Bde (Maybe seanmc1114 might know a bit more as knows just about everything on the 3rd Bde in Vietnam).

Also he lost his wings and oval (which was a solid Red Generic type), as well as ribbons, perhaps these can be getten here, a set here from somebody, or be directed to say Ebay.

His niece has his DD214, and told me that it shows Vietnam war service. The wings were on the uniform when he gave it to me but he wanted to keep them.
