CW4AFB Posted November 23, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 23, 2017 As many of you already know, I know very little about USMC WW2 stuff and I am helping a friend with her father's WW2 USMC Officer's emblems--He served in WW2 and then later in the 50s in the USMC Reserve-- are these EGAs from WW2 or later? and the hat braid--any idea of period? I've included the patches he stored with the EGAs and --I know they are FMF Ships Detachment and 13th Defense Battalion --Was the 13th the Defense Battalion for GITMO?
