Allan H. Posted November 23, 2017 Share #3 Posted November 23, 2017 Super image! I'm counting 13 o/seas bars on that right cuff. As he was a POW after being captured in the Philippines at the beginning of WWII, he spent three years as a guest of the Japanese. He went on to serve in Korea and Vietnam, where he commanded the 101st Airborne Division. He was a true warrior! Allan
firefighter Posted November 24, 2017 Share #4 Posted November 24, 2017 WoW! Amazing soldier, Hero, and as Allan stated, a true Warrior. It looks like he is wearing one of the felt/velvet 101st patches sold outside of Campbell.
