empireguns Posted November 19, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 19, 2017 I got the ebay ban for listing a Utica m4 with m8 scabbard because its an assault weapon. tried to talk to the filipino ebay operators and they're stupid too.. Make sure if you list an M4 you use m-4- or something that doesnt highlight to moronic ebay employees "m4". You'd think they would put people in place that know what an assault weapon is. This was my second offense because i listed a trench knife that they said was prohibited despite 3-4 being sold in the months prior. I didn't bother with that one probably should have. jw517 Posted November 19, 2017 Share #2 Posted November 19, 2017 I have been waylayed too. I just copy WORD FOR WORD what it says on another listing and it usually goes through. I've had to use the word knife instead of bayonet too.
camillus Posted November 19, 2017 Share #3 Posted November 19, 2017 they can be ridiculous some times, there will be dozens of the very same thing for sale but they nail one in particular. i read about a woman who listed a German helmet, every time she listed no matter how it was rejected despite the many already listed. She thought it might have been a competitor' She sold it at a show for 500.00. ebay missed there cut. I would keep calling ebay till you get somebody who know the difference post a picture and explain that it is not a fire arm

Just relist it and re word it.Often its not ebay who will catch it as I understand but some key board cop or another who wants to buy it out right then will report the item after making contact with the seller and have it pulled. I've had to use the word knife instead of bayonet too. That didn't work for me. Copied the title and description, was rejected. Ray
