ArchangelDM Posted November 19, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 19, 2017 So I was lucky enough to purchase this helmet from a forum member and thought it deserved some photos showing the paint and chinstraps. I originally posted that the straps seemed in used but on actually having it in hand you can see The Sun bleaching on them and also the net underneath creating a shadow on them , showing that this helmet has had this configuration for some time. The net is beautiful on this one , and the camo is beautiful in hand showing the wear with the net being on it. Recently Ive been looking in depth at pacific helmets and burlap covers and been seeing these wide nets on all of them. It seems the marines favored these nets , the army favouring the smaller sized nets. This one is hand tied to a greenish coloured piece of net which is neat.
