We picked this up today, still trying to research the guy. Kind of neat, I would think more of a "souvenir" helmet but still pretty cool!

Appears to be a 1969 contract SPH-4 judging by the early M87 mic and early hinge style boom.  Wish I got my fathers SPH-4 but they made him turn both of his in when he left Vietnam in 70 and then later in the ARNG.  Only got a APH-5 that they let them keep since they were no longer used.  I wonder when this guy served in those units, one of my fathers friends from back home and 2 from flight school flew with the C-101st Blackwidows 69-70.
