P-39 pilot in camo flight suit

Ready a back issue of Aviation History, came across an article about a P-39 statically restored by the Pima Air Museum

 

What caught my eye was the camo flight suit worn by the pilot,,,Marine coveralls or the Army version? theater made? interesting

Agreestandard army coveralls.You can see the right hip pocket in the photo.

 

There was only one pattern of camo coverall in WW2 and seen in use at times by the Marine corp but were of Army pattern
