The currency in Europe is Euros as you surely know and not potatoes or apples. Well, rather high bid! It is a beautiful piece! I think it is an altered belgian M1 helmet. It is one of the more authentic fakes but is this worth 850 euros then? It is a low dome helmet. It has this wide sides on each side (when looking from underneath.) which is typical for helmets made by UMAL. Really a great piece and the story to it is full of sh... shiny truth, of course. "Military red cross helmet found at grandpa in the attic in Groesbeek.According to my grandfather, he stayed behind during the war by the Americans.Near the helmet is a piece of parachute that grandfather had found in the war."
