Hey guys,

I picked this grouping up this weekend at the local flea market. Vietnam era militaria is not my strong era but I couldnt leave it sitting there. The ribbin bar looks period because of its aging. The SSI's seem new but I could be wrong. I do not know much about CIB's or Jump Wings so those I leave to more knowledgeable members. All is glued in so I cannot check the backs. Thank you in advancw for any and all help!

A little weird.

A major with five Army Good Conduct Medals, out of order ribbons Amy Achievement higher than Meritorious Service). The Armed Forces Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, but no Overseas Service Ribbon or NCO Professional Development Ribbon with 15 years as an enlisted man and presumably an NCO for some of that time? I know reservists can have convoluted service careers, but no Armed Forces Reserve Medal or Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal.

Maybe an incomplete group put together by the family or someone else with limited knowledge of these things.

Thank you for the reply, atb. I too was confused by the multiple good conduct awards. I would have expected to see more to his awards if he had truly been in that long.
