Das-boot Posted November 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 14, 2017 Hi all,I recently picked up a set of P41 utility trousers at a sale and It had this Green tag on it. Can anyone tell me what it specifically represents? I understand that some of the numbers represent the year this particular set of trousers was produced (1944) as well as the waist and inseam (its a size 32 waist). Otherwise Im not sure what the rest of the numbers mean. Is it a laundry tag? Thanks all!
bargunner Posted November 14, 2017 Share #2 Posted November 14, 2017 It's a cutter tag. Any pictures of the front of the trousers and the waistband?

Schnicklfritz Posted November 14, 2017 Share #9 Posted November 14, 2017 I only know that the left number indicates the date of manufacture and the right number indicates waist size. I would be interested in finding out what the other numbers indicate. I would speculate that at least one of the other numbers is an identifier as to the person who cut the trousers. As far as I know, the tags were added before the uniforms were sewn together.
