I thought I would share this nice photo of a friend’s father that she posted on Facebook yesterday. He is still living at age 91 and has finally begun to open up about his experiences on Okinawa. I have her permission to share here.

Please tell him thanks for his service to our country.It's great that he is sharing his memories of the War.My Dad,like many Vets,never did reach that point where he could speak about what he had experienced. I hope that someone is documenting his recollections so that they may be added to the historical record.
