Airborne-Hunter Posted November 11, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 11, 2017 I picked up this set earlier this year because I just found it so unique. The cap was made in Los Angeles, but the Lt. Colonel looks theater made and the EGA may be as well. I'm not sure exactly what the name is supposed to be, but I can't seem to find anything in search results, but a nice piece nonetheless. Brig Posted November 11, 2017 Share #9 Posted November 11, 2017 EGA appears to be an H&H pattern...you sometimes see that mark on the black service ones, as well. They may have sold stock to other firms to be recarded and sold and removed their marks beforehand
warguy Posted November 11, 2017 Share #10 Posted November 11, 2017 I think the marking on the back of the ega says Imperial. H-H used this mark for a time, I think there was some kind of merger.
Brig Posted November 11, 2017 Share #11 Posted November 11, 2017 H&H acquired Imperial in 42, a dual-hallmark was used through
