CNY Militaria Posted November 10, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 10, 2017 I posted this to the ASMIC Facebook page but the closest suggestion to an ID was that this might be a USMC Graves Registration Unit- Vulture, shovel, and the "One Way" motto. It's a well made patch. I have scoured the internet looking for anything similar and have come up empty. Any thoughts? Thanks! Justin
Sgt. BARney Posted November 10, 2017 Share #2 Posted November 10, 2017 No idea - that's a new one. The globe looks pretty odd too. Seems to show a certain part of the globe, but I can't tell where.
Looper5920 Posted November 10, 2017 Share #3 Posted November 10, 2017 I have seen 1 or 2 patches of late from the Korean War with the same rough design. One big difference is that the scroll said Simply Forgotten vice One Way. I always thought those patches were for Marine units that remained on the Peninsula after the war from 53-56 but that is purely speculative. bobgee Posted November 11, 2017 Share #5 Posted November 11, 2017 This is nothing more than a Marine's parody of the EGA. Saw them in my 1950s service time. Semper Fi......Bob
