Justin Posted November 9, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted November 9, 2017 Thanks Ron! I couldn't find much information on these, most likely due to the cases being unmarked Many thanks

Justin Posted November 9, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted November 9, 2017 Thanks Ron, always appreciate your useful post here My set looks unissued, and has three rods in the covered snap pocket, one cleaning, one extention rod and one with the end similar to a large threading niddle. doyler Posted December 2, 2017 Share #7 Posted December 2, 2017 Thanks Ron, always appreciate your useful post here My set looks unissued, and has three rods in the covered snap pocket, one cleaning, one extention rod and one with the end similar to a large threading niddle. J Sounds like a nice set. Often the rods are missing and I recall a plastic case for oil used/added in the later cases with the zipper pouch The slotted tip for the rod is used for the cloth patch to clean the bore after the brush is run through. If you don't have one pick up a period manual. The comic book one is not hard to find.I use to have a dozen of them around but not sure where they ended up.Gave a couple to vets here in town.
