Championhilz Posted November 7, 2017 Share #1 Posted November 7, 2017 I went to a local flea market this weekend, and in the very first booth I spotted a basket filled with postcards and pictures - I dug through it, and found this ripped real photo postcard of a crewman from the USS Georgia. The Georgia, BB-15, served as a training ship at the start of World War 1, and later did convoy escort duty. Unfortunately the sailor is not identified. The card may be in rough shape, but for $1 I thought it was worth saving.
