Most of the pictures I've seen have patches in pocket hangers, and usually only one patch is worn. I have two khaki shirts from 6th Inf. Reg., Americal Div. where patches are sewn-on. One shirt has two patches (196th LIB on the right pocket and Americal on the left) and another shirt has 198th LIB on the right pocket. Both are short-sleeved too.
