Came up with this awesome photo. Anyone has this photo in better resolution or the source where it was published originally? Maybe someone knows who was this SP4 Lawrence? I believe I can see a Combat Medic Badge that he's wearing.

Indeed! One of great examples of how patches were worn in 'Nam or I better say - in Americal Division. Just sewn-on unto the pockets.

Very interesting picture! Having patches sewn directly onto the pockets seems pretty rare. Most of the pictures I've seen have patches in pocket hangers, and usually only one patch is worn.

I have two khaki shirts from 6th Inf. Reg., Americal Div. where patches are sewn-on. One shirt has two patches (196th LIB on the right pocket and Americal on the left) and another shirt has 198th LIB on the right pocket. Both are short-sleeved too.
